The T-45 Power Armor can be found near the Pickman Gallery, & players will need to hack a terminal to open the cage that contains the armor.
The T-45 Power Armor is the military-build variant that offers the best Energy Resistance value with 310 Energy Resistance & 500 Damage Resistance. The Raider Power Armor can be found in the cave across Skylanes Flight 1655. The Raider Power Armor is an option for entry-level players, providing a Damage Resistance of 500 and an Energy Resistance of 250. Disciples Metal Armor provides the best heavy armor qualities in Fallout 4 & covers one of the top factions of the Nuka-World. It is cheap & easy to acquire, with the Dunwich Borers being the best place to obtain it. Metal Armor offers the best Damage Resistance going up to 125 for the heavy tier armor but lacks Energy Resistance. It can be obtained from dead Trapper enemies on the Island. Trapper Armor offers mid-level Damage Resistance & comes in two variants: Standard yields 56 Damage & 54 Energy Resistance, & Heavy yields 80 Damage & 80 Energy Resistance. It can only be obtained by finishing the Automatron DLC. Mechanist’s Armor is a funny-looking armor that offers 72 Damage & Energy Resistance, +1 Endurance, and 15% damage reduction from robots. It can only be acquired by killing Elder Arthur Maxson. When modified with Ballistic Weave, it offers 160 Damage Resistance & 110 Energy Resistance, weighing only 20 values & granting a +1 Perception value. Maxson’s Battlecoat is a unique apparel that provides 50 Damage Resistance with no Energy or Radiation resistance. It can be obtained through the Far Harbor DLC. The Marine Armor is the most powerful non-power armor in Fallout 4, offering 159 damage resistance, 158 energy resistance, & 60 radiation resistance at the cost of 95 weight. The Destroyer’s Armor offers 15% damage reduction from humans & can be purchased from Daisy’s Discounts in Good Neighborhood for the chest piece, Penny Fitzgerald in Covenant for the helmet, Deb in Bunker Hill for the left arm, & Alexis Combes in Vault 81 for the right leg. 
It can be acquired by setting up an Armor Emporium & purchasing the chest plate from the Scribe & the left greave from the Vault-Tec Rep.
The Apocalypse Armor offers the Martyr’s legendary effect & enhanced damage & energy resistance in the lower body.Silver Shroud Armor is a unique armor set available through the Silver Shroud quest line & provides a significant boost to damage resistance.Freefall Legs provide increased falling damage protection, but they can be challenging to obtain.Acadia’s Shield is an armor set that provides high damage & energy resistance but is only available with the Far Harbor DLC.Synth Armor provides stealth abilities and is available at the Institute, but it has low DR values.Operators Heavy Armo r is a rare armor set that can be found at Nuka-World, offering the highest DR values in the game.Nuka-Girl Space Suit is one of the best-looking armor pieces in Fallout 4, & it provides energy & radiation resistance but only has a Damage Resistance value of 5.Combat Armor is a mid-range non-power armor in Fallout 4 that offers significant damage resistance, & it can be found at Gunners Plaza or Jamaica Plain Town Hall.The DC Guard Armor is the first armor on the list, providing a decent level of protection & is easy to acquire.Fallout 4 armor sets are not individual items, but combinations that players must adapt to their needs.
